In the heart of the mountains
Surrounded by the Raetikon mountain range, the small mountain village of Brand, heart of the valley, is located on 1,000 metres above sea level. The Alvier brook, whose banks are lined with romantic walking trails and cosy benches that invite you to rest for a while, cuts through the valley. The mountain meadows are full of rare flowers and herbs. It is a place where you will feel at home immediately.
Whether it is sports, relaxing in nature or leisure and fun – you will find all those things, sports and leisure activities, hiking trails and, last but not least, an abundance of nature, directly at your doorstep.
Hiking
Brandertal boasts 400km of groomed winter hiking trails.
Whether you’re in the mood for mounting the 2,965m high Schesaplana peak, or a small, but exquisite tour – there is something for everyone in Brandnertal.
Splashing fun
Have fun splashing around at the Alvierbad, fed by clear spring water from Brand and brought to a comfortable bathing temperature with solar energy. The natural swimming lake surrounded by a big lawn is a popular location for swimming and relaxing.
Your kids will love it too: they will splash around, build sandcastles and make first attempts at swimming in the kids’ pool of the Alvierbad children’s paradise..

Fishing
Enjoy the manifold possibilities and the calm while casting the fishing rod. The overwhelming panorama of lake Lünersee and the myriad of crystal-clear mountain streams of our region will doubtlessly enchant you.
Lake Lünersee:
… is commonly called “the gem of the Raetikon”. Fishers will love the crystal-clear water of this alpine lake.

The Alvier brook:
The Alvier brook winds from the “Kesslfall”, an imposing waterfall, through the village of Brand until it reaches the so-called “Löcher” (holes). It is easily reachable on foot. Beautiful deep tarns and smaller ponds make for ideal fly fishing conditions.

Fly fishing classes are offered for both beginners and advanced fishers.

18-hole golf course Brand
Brandnertal, one of the most beautiful valleys in the Alps, surrounded by the mountainous panorama and the glaciers of the Raetikon, is home to a nature park embedding the 18-hole golf course Brand.
Especially at the height of summer, this serene golf course scores with its unbeatably mild climate and fresh mountain air, thanks to the nearby Brandner glacier at almost 3,000 metres above sea level.
This peaceful course, far from noisy traffic of any sort, is located in the Alpine region of Bludenz between the Arlberg and Lake Constance. Here, golfing is more than just a game: it is a serene encounter with nature.

Conquer the Alps on your bike!
Brandnertal is crisscrossed by 110 kilometres of official mountain bike trails. Mountain bike routes with varying levels of difficulty invite both beginners and advanced bikers to explore the stunning scenery.
